Proudly presenting our new client HUMLE Från  Kalvsved

Our new client HUMLE Från Kalvsved is a Swedish ramp-up company producing award-winning and organic skin care products for humans and pets. The unique ingredient is hops which contain many active properties and health benefits that only a few people know today but were widely known and used by our ancestors.

We chatted with Elina Forsell and Tobias Helmin, the founders of HUMLE, to learn more about their products and plans for the future.

Please tell us a little bit about HUMLE

We are an organic and hand-made skincare company based in southern Sweden. Our products feature hops from our farm. Since founding in 2019, we’ve developed our manufacturing process and product line, established a brand, and won several awards, including the Nordic Natural Beauty Awards. Our success is significant proof of our concept.

Why did you choose to use hops in your products?

We started growing hops for a brewery initially, but the financial prospects were not convincing. So we decided to focus on natural medicine instead. Hops have several proven benefits for the skin, including antibacterial (especially for bacteria related to dermatitis), anti-fungal, and anti-viral. Hops are also rich in antioxidants and flavonoids and have anti-cancer properties. We use these unique properties of hops to create organic, clean skin care products that are good for you and the environment.

What are your plans for the future of HUMLE?

Our goal for HUMLE is to become a leading brand in the organic skin care industry while disrupting the conventional beauty scene. We plan to expand our product line, increase our production capacity, and enter new markets while continuing to create high-quality, hand-made skin care products that are good for people and the planet.

Which product in your line is a must-try?

While we’ve won several awards for our HUMLE Body Butter Body Apelsini and HUMLE Raska Tassar Pet Care product, we also highly recommend trying our HUMLE Rena Smörjan Apelsini. Originally made for dry and chapped skin for our hard-working local farmers and carpenters. Now a “must have” for any person with dry skin. Also, the soap bar HUMLE Trevlig tea tree has become very popular as a shampoo bar for persons and pets struggling with dandruff and dry, sensitive scalps.
